1829/7 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-101. Rarity-1. AU-58 (PCGS). A popular overdate die pairing in the Capped Bust half dollar series, offered here in sharp and attractive Choice AU preservation. Handsomely toned, the obverse exhibits warm mauve-gray patina while the reverse is a bit lighter in blended pearl-gray and golden-olive. Smooth in hand with plenty of softly frosted luster remaining.
