1748-A Half Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-297. Rarity-2. First Semester. MS-62 (PCGS). 17.0 grains. Full silvering to both sides, the surfaces smooth for the grade with original toning in golden-olive and sandy-russet over a base of pewter-gray. Boldly to sharply struck throughout, this is an ideal candidate for inclusion in either a specialized French colonial cabinet or a type set requiring a single high grade demi-sou marque.
