1866 Three-Dollar Gold Piece. EF-45 (PCGS). Warm yellow-gold surfaces are evenly worn but only faintly marked and choice for the grade. Isolated glimpses of original luster are present in the protected areas. Only 4,000 circulation strikes were produced of the date. Provenance: From the Collection of Silas Stanley Roberts, 1888-1966.
