Lot Description

1846-D Liberty Quarter Eagle. Winter 7-K. AU-53 (NGC). This is a late die state of the Winter 7-K variety with the "D Near D" feature no longer evident. A boldly patinated example, both sides exhibit warm, even, khaki-gold color. Quite smooth in a lightly circulated Dahlonega Mint quarter eagle, with overall sharp definition that further enhances strong eye appeal. Very nice for the grade.
