This is a gorgeous, totally original SUPERB GEM that clearly resided in a Mint Set until it was submitted for grading. With just a single MS68 graded finer at PCGS, this spectacular coin has a lot to offer the Registry collector. Sharply struck up and highly lustrous, the reverse offers a rich olive and apricot toning that is truly a delight to behold! PCGS 129, NGC 341, CAC 71. There are 25 graded MS67+ at PCGS. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $1,320 in September 2020 and the current PCGS value is $1,000. We can see this one exceed that level when the hammer falls.
