This is a Condition Census coin for the 1819/8 Overton-101 dies, the only attribution that corresponds to the Small 9 <em>Guide </em><em>Book </em>variety of this listing. It is also only the second Mint State example of the variety that we have offered since 2005, and finer than the PCGS MS-62 that realized $4,080 in our April 2022 sale of the Abigail Collection, Part II. This handsome Choice example is warmly and evenly toned over sharply struck, softly lustrous and pleasingly smooth surfaces. Die State 101.2.
