1872-CC Liberty Head Half Eagle. VG-10 (PCGS). Richly original khaki-rose surfaces with all devices boldly outlined and fully appreciable. Both sides are remarkably smooth for a well circulated Carson City Mint half eagle, further confirming this as a highly desirable survivor of this scarce, low mintage issue with just 16,980 coins struck.
