Lot Description

One of the key dates to the series, this low mintage issue of 491,600 pieces is rarely found above the Gem level. The present coin boasts rich satiny luster, is mostly bright silver with a thin glaze of silver-gray patina overall. The strike is sharp with a defined thumb on Liberty and slight softness on the skirt lines and leading edge of the thigh on the eagle. Impressive in every regard and worthy of the finest collection of Walking Liberty halves.<p>
