- 1801 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-212, B-2. Rarity-3. EF-45 (PCGS).
Mingled silver, slate, and steel gray toning completely engages both sides of this sharp Bust dollar. Underlying luster is present on both sides and some silver brilliance struggles for attention in Liberty's hair and the eagle's wing feathers. No marks assail the unaided eye though a scattering of tiny ticks can be found under low magnification, all of which are commensurate for the grade. A choice specimen that should prove popular with early dollar enthusiasts.
PCGS# 6893. NGC ID: 24XA.
