- Lot 358 1853 N-13 R1 Repunched 1 PCGS graded MS65 Brown.Frosty medium chocolate brown and steel with a few very tiny peeps of mint red showing on the obverse. No notable marks or other defects, but the luster is subdued by a layer of natural oxidation. Would benefit from a proper brushing to uncover the luster. M-LDS, die state b, the usual hoard die state for this variety. The repunching at the bottom of the 1 is clear. Our grade is MS60+ (probably better following a proper brushing). The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
