Superb Gem Proof 1881 Dollar 1881 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-67 (PCGS). Teal, blue and russet-rose toning is evident on the obverse, with a small dime sized area that shows vibrant orange sunset shades at the center. The reverse is well matched although even deeper in hue, with nearly charcoal-gray dominating. From a mintage of 984 pieces, this is clearly one of the top two dozen, with most of those tied at this grade level. An enticing example for the date, type or Morgan specialist who demands eye appeal and quality. PCGS# 7316. PCGS Population: 6; 1 finer (Proof-68 finest) within the Proof category.
