1797 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-2, B-2a. Rarity-4. Plain Edge. VF-35 (PCGS). Secure Holder. A pleasing mid-grade example, this Choice VF combines a copper-brown reverse with a lighter obverse adorned with steel-brown and pale-copper colors. The definition is well balanced on the both sides, and we note considerable boldness to the major devices despite the presence of moderate wear. A few scattered nicks and digs are insignificant in the context of the assigned grade.
