- JD-2 is the scarcer of the two die marriages confirmed for this issue, and it is readily identifiable by the upright of the digit 1 in the date centered over a space between two denticles. This strongly cameoed specimen is untoned apart from faint iridescent highlights at the peripheries. Fully struck and crisp, as befits the issue, a few faint hairlines hardly inhibit the in-hand appearance of this impressive piece.
