1850 Liberty Head Eagle. Small Date. AU-53 (PCGS). An attractive honey-gold example with bold detail and good luster quality for the assigned grade. The Small Date is by far the scarcer logotype of the 1850 eagle (combined mintage: 291,451 circulation strikes), although this fact is not widely recognized in wider numismatic circles. Uncommonly well preserved and attractive in all regards, our offering of this About Uncirculated coin represents a fleeting bidding opportunity for the astute gold enthusiast.
