1843 Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. OC-3. Rarity-2. Repunched Date. MS-62 (NGC). Richly toned deep gray-blue and russet surfaces. Direct lighting calls forth not only iridescent undertones of pink, gold and lilac, but also lively satin to semi-prooflike luster. Well struck for the type, the definition is bold to sharp throughout. The 1843 Liberty Seated dollar is scarce at this level of preservation with most survivors from a mintage of 165,100 pieces in circulated grades. PCGS# 6929. NGC ID: 24YD.
