A truly magnificent Cameo Proof of the date, a coin with unyielding eye appeal and aesthetic charm. The pale silver-gray surfaces are alive with bold luster, and a bright light source reveals a pale sky blue, gold, and rose glow on the heartily frosted motifs and delightfully mirrored fields. Highly important as the only Proof-69 Cameo -- or Proof-69 -- example of any date certified by NGC. For a change, we don't feel the need to stress the virtues of the present coin -- its quality speaks for itself. A special coin that will long be remembered by Liberty nickel specialists.
