- Description du lot
- "1783" (ca. 1820) Washington Military Bust Copper. Musante GW-109, Baker-4B, Vlack 1-A, W-. Small Military Bust. Engrailed Edge. EF-45 (PCGS).
Rich copper-brown patina overall with intermingled flint gray and pale olive around the peripheries. The surfaces are hard and tight with only small, wispy handling marks scattered about. Struck from an advanced (although not the latest) die state, the obverse periphery is shattered with numerous cracks. Boldly defined and appealing at the Choice EF grade level.
PCGS# 673.
