Superb Proof 1885 Half Dollar 1885 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-67 (PCGS). CAC. Dominant toning in warm sandy-tan and olive yields to lighter pearl-gray toward the center of the reverse. There are more vivid undertones to both sides, especially at the borders, and direct lighting also call forth an intensely reflective finish. Exceptionally well preserved for this late date Proof Liberty Seated half dollar issue, and of even further importance given the low mintage status of the associated circulation strike delivery.
