Bon Voyage Collection. Weak but discernible, the mintmark is all-important to the popularity of this issue, esteemed as the key to the series. The knifelike rim on the obverse affirms authenticity. Ideal ash-gold gleams from the surface and suggests a coin that remains a little more original than many lightly circulated 1911-D quarter-eagles that have been processed so as to appear "UNC".
