Remarkably for such a well known strike rarity, the fabulous Jefferson nickel set that we are offering in this sale includes not one, but two Full Steps examples of the 1953-S. This near-Gem is lightly toned in pale silver over satiny, lustrous surfaces. Typical softness overall for the issue, yet with uncommonly full detail to the steps of Monticello.
