A magnificent BLAZING red SUPERB GEM Proof example of this date! Its freshness and quality is very high end. Flawless, deeply reflective mirrors beam all over with a flaming red color that contrasts against the sharply defined devices. Devoid of any serious copper spots, we not a tiny patch of iridescent toning on the upper reverse, which adds to the eye appeal. What a great looking example! PCGS 21, NGC 17, CAC 8. Just three examples graded PR66+ RD CAM at PCGS. We sold the last two examples, the most recent in our May 2018 Regency Auction for $2,938 and prior to that, one sold for $3,000 hammer in our June 2017 Premier Session. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,500. There are just four coins graded PR67 RD CAM finer at PCGS, which would bring five figures in auction today! Cert.
