1844-D Liberty Quarter Eagle. MS-62 (NGC). 1877-S Liberty Quarter Eagle. AU-55 (PCGS). One of the tough early Dahlonega Mint issues that boasts a mintage of 17,332 pieces. From that group, a mere handful survive in mint condition. Exceptionally bright and flashy, with a few minor signs of handling when closely examined. One of the top dozen seen by NGC, and a hard coin to find this nice.
