From the Premier Barber Collection. In a collection full of marvels, this 94-S really does stand out! Not only is it the second finest graded at PCGS, it has an amazing, totally original, old collection type look! A vibrant mint brilliance swirls in the form of radial cartwheels across both sides. This brilliant luster beams from below a layer of rich pastel iridescent toning. The eye appeal is exceptional and the surfaces are nearly without flaw. It takes a very strong glass to locate the one or two insignificant ticks, neither of which negatively affect the STUNNING eye appeal. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 2. Clearly there is something not right with the population, even when you included the MS67+. This is the Gene Gardner coin that brought $12,925 in October 2015. The current Collector's Universe value is listed at $16,000. It is highly unlikely you will find a finer example, one that even Gene Gardner called "Finest Known." Cert. Number 25643389 PCGS # 5609
