1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-65 PL (NGC). OH. This stunning Gem is brilliant apart from wisps of iridescent golden-rose peripheral toning that are more prevalent on the reverse. Highly lustrous with appreciable reflective tendencies in the fields, a sharp to full strike is also a praiseworthy attribute for a final-year Morgan dollar. As certified population data makes clear, Prooflike coins are in the distinct minority among Mint State survivors of this otherwise plentiful Denver Mint issue.
