Lot Description
BOING!! Head turning resplendence is afire with neon Alabama crimson, tiger orange, celery green, coral and blush hues. The obverse color is more intense than the reverse, but the reverse has a lighter, softer rendition of similar colors. Probably stored in an album with a lot of sulfur in the cardboard, like they were made back in the day, such as a Wayte Raymond board or a Mehgrig album. One tick on Liberty's cheek away from MS68 status! Uninterrupted luster dances over clean fields. PCGS 324 (50 of which grade MS-67+), NGC 467 (44 are +), CAC 151. An attractively toned piece sold in May 2022 for $660. While PCGS Price Guide is just $800 for the grade, one cannot presume to know what a gorgeously toned example like this coin will fetch. All we can say is, we think it will sell for a very strong number, so be prepared and good luck! Cert. Number 47426160 PCGS # 5865
