1915 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. MS-64+ (NGC). CAC. A smartly impressed, sharply defined example with beautiful medium gold luster to both sides. With a limited mintage of 152,000 circulation strikes and relatively few examples included in modern repatriations of double eagles from foreign bank hoards, the 1915 is scarce in an absolute sense and rare in grades above the basal MS-64 level.
