- 1902 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-67 Cameo (PCGS). Layered in rich steel and russet patina, the reverse contrasts with an obverse lightly toned in iridescent silver gray. Both sides are fully struck, as befits the method of manufacture, with a wonderfully original appearance. Survivors from this 777-piece Proof Barber half dollar issue are rare in Superb Gem grades, especially when a Cameo designation from PCGS or NGC is also included.
