1842-D Liberty Head Half Eagle. Winter 7-E. Small Date, Small Letters. EF-45 (PCGS). CAC. Really a lovely example, both sides are undeniably original in preservation in a blend of deep rose and khaki-gold colors. Impressively smooth in hand, the more persistent viewer will be rewarded with flickers of original mint frost in the protected areas around some of the design elements.
