The Crimson Collection. Overton-101. The same dies were used to strike extremely rare proofs for the date, and were able to deliver considerable sharpness for this circulation striking. Indeed, the detail seen here exceeds that for some gem examples that the cataloger has also observed. Further, the eye-appeal outpaces what one might expect of just MS-61 due to the presence of pretty album toning and delightful, frosted luster, even if many feathery hairlines show within the fields.
