1829 Capped Bust Half Dime. LM-7.3. Rarity-4. MS-64 (NGC). Frosty silver-gray surfaces with a sharply executed strike overall. This is the most frequently encountered die state of the 1829 LM-7 half dime, but the variety as a whole is scarce. As well, LM-7.3 is conditionally challenging with the Logan-McCloskey reference collection including only "several AU examples" (as reported in 1998). PCGS# 38622. NGC ID: 232B.
