Lot Description

Another very attractive SCARCE gold issue in collector grade. With only 24,015 struck this date is scarce in all grades. This is a totally original and handsome collector grade example. Nicely defined on both sides the wear is soft and even, and there are no issues seen anywhere. The richly toned golden surfaces are a delight to behold. PCGS 41, NGC 17, CAC 2. The other CAC-approved example sold nearly five years ago. We suspect this really pleasing XF will sell for well above published levels when the hammer falls.
