1934 Maryland Tercentenary. MS-67+ (PCGS). Simply outstanding surface quality in an example of this classic commemorative type. Both sides are bathed in billowy mint frost, the centers brilliant and ringed in iridescent reddish-copper, antique gold and pale olive. A mintage of 25,000 coins was issued to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Province of Maryland by Cecil Calvert, 2nd Lord Baltimore, and this is clearly one of the finest certificated examples available to today's discerning collectors.
