1888 Liberty Seated Quarter. MS-64 (PCGS). CAC. OGH--First Generation. A nice, frosty example appearing to have just been struck at Philadelphia. This quarter is low-mintage, to the extent of 10,001 circulation strikes and 832 proofs. We are unsure why this one did not make a higher grade, but this is often the case when an example appears in an old holder, as here.
