Lot Description

1851-O Silver Three-Cent Piece. MS-65 (NGC). The only branch mint three cent silver piece, this lovely Gem is an excellent representative of the New Orleans issue. Both sides have lovely antique-gold, crimson-red, and jade-green toning over frosty luster. The central obverse is a little weak, but the quality of the surfaces makes up for that shortcoming.
