- 1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 32-T, W-5100. Rarity-2. No Sprig Above Plow, Outlined Shield. Fine-15 (PCGS). 131.8 grains. A decent medium brown and tan piece, the surfaces just slightly rough in appearance due to myriad tiny contact marks and light planchet flaws, but overall very acceptable for the grade. The date and legends are bold and the motifs well defined. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection. Purchased September 1994 at the East Coast Expo.
