Lot Description

Largely brilliant and lustrous with splashes of frosty orange at the rims. Nicely struck from lightly clashed dies, with just a hint of circulation rub on the high points and no serious marks to draw the viewer’s eye. Though somewhat plentiful in lower grades – by Carson City Mint standards – finding an attractive example of the date is not always an easy task.
