- Lot 174 1856 C-1 R2 NGC graded MS64 Brown.Frosty light olive with subtle overtones of sea-green and light bluish steel. No spots or stains. The best identifying mark is a microscopic planchet flake (as struck) in the field above star 2. E-MDS, Manley state 2.0 early. The fine die line from the leaf under ES in STATES is sharp. A bit softly struck on the upper half of the obverse; the rest of the devices are sharp. Our grade is MS60+.Estimate Value $375 - UP Ex eBay 1/30/2004-The Green Tree Collection.
