A very scarce Civil War date $20, this one in a very pleasing, collector oriented grade. Only 92,133 were coined for circulation. This handsome example shows just some light to moderate wear with strong frost still glowing in the protected areas. Rich golden-orange with pleasing olive-gold overtones accent the nice surface quality and eye appeal. PCGS 9, NGC 9, CAC 1. The current Collector's Universe value is $11,250 and this last sold for $10,869 in February 2018. Prior to that, a non-CAC coin sold in March 2017 for $11,750.
