FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION Not the most common date in this series, it is indeed quite scarce in MS65 or finer grades. Totally original surfaces show a frosty mint bloom under golden-tan accents on pleasing steel-gray surfaces. The eye appeal is bold and this date is quite difficult to find any finer. PCGS 27, NGC 25. This coin last sold in an August 2006 auction, realizing $1,150, which happens to be the current Collectors Universe value. We don't know why CAC did not bean this GEM, it is totally original and pleasing for the assigned grade. Fewer than two dozen have ever graded higher at PCGS. Good luck. Cert.
