THE SOMMELIER COLLECTION Ex Twin Leaf Collection, as noted on the insert. WOW! What a lustrous GEM late date large cent. This lovely coin has a wonderful blend of olive-green and medium brown patina on both sides, the subtle changes in coloration brought out when the vibrant cartwheel luster catches the light source. Struck from Noyes earliest state, the dies were clearly fresh when this coin was struck. There is a tiny mark on the reverse below CENT and a tiny spot to the left of ONE. Offering a wonderful provenance, first appearing as lot 1179 in Bowers & Merena's March 1999 auction; Robinson S. Brown Jr Collection, Superior 2002, lot 1100; Twin Leaf Collection, Part I, Stack's Bowers July 2015, lot 2612.
