1877-CC Trade Dollar. EF-40 (NGC). Pleasing pearl gray patina blankets both sides of this overall smooth, suitably bold example. One of the rarest Carson City Mint trade dollars in all grades, the 1877-CC was produced to the extent of just 534,000 pieces. With Mint State examples among the most elusive coins of their type in today's market, attractive circulated survivors, as here, are eagerly sought at all grade levels. Provenance: From the E.
