FROM THE MHS COLLECTION A lovely and boldly lustrous untoned B-2. Just below the Tompkins Census and within the Rea, et al Census. Full, swirling cartwheel luster radiates across the CHOICE surfaces. Well struck throughout, the surfaces show just the most subtle traces of contact, visible with a strong glass. The eye appeal is bold. PCGS 1, NGC 0. Fewer than 20 have graded finer. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $5,000 and with no PCGS-graded MS64 or finer coin selling in over three years, this coin could certainly bring more than the published levels.
