Lot Description

Ex Keith Davignon.  A high-end example, pushing the Condition Census.  Keith plucked it from a bourse case at the Nov. 2005 Baltimore show.  The surfaces radiate with luster.  Exquisite antique grey toning will appeal to advanced collectors.  The surfaces are essentially perfect.  Tiny dots over the 3 of the date were imparted by the ejection mechanism used in conjunction with the screw press.  They are very common in the capped bust series.  Est. $1,100 to $1,500.
