Lot Description

Flashy, brilliant mirrored surfaces gleam and beam boldly on both sides of this high end and totally original GEM Proof 1883 Indian cent. The reverse is essentially FULL RED, while the obverse is magnificently toned with lilac and magenta-violet overtones. There are no spots, lines, or marks that distract the eye and the visual allure is simply stunning. PCGS 73, NGC 53, CAC 18. The last PCGS/CAC coin we sold was in our June 2019 Regency Auction 33 and brought $1,410. More recently we sold a non-CAC coin for $1,469.
