1844 Liberty Seated Quarter. Briggs 2-B. Repunched Date. MS-62 (NGC). OH. A lovely Mint State example of this scarce variety, showing a repunched second number 4 in the date. Original variegated patina covers both sides, and the clean, abrasion-free surfaces exhibit well struck design motifs.
