Lot 447 1856 N-2 R1 Italic 5 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved.Frosty medium steel brown. Satiny and attractive, free of any spots, stains, or significant contact marks. The only notable marks are a collection of small nicks left of the first S in STATES. LDS, die state f, with several fine die cracks on the obverse. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 4 finer: 3 in 64, 1 in 66.
