Lot Description

Noyes Die State B/B. A lustrous example painted in uniform pinkish tones courtesy of faded mint-red luster. The highest points show smooth chocolate-brown color and an area of deep olive patina is noted to the right of letter T in CENT on the reverse. The surfaces are overall smooth and without notable imperfections, though inspection reveals a few old, dull marks below stars 6 and 7 that have long integrated into the complexion. A flashy and attractive example of this Randall Hoard variety.
