1873 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Arrows. WB-109, FS-1101. Rarity-5-. Doubled Die Obverse, Quad Stripes. AU-53 (PCGS). The lower portion of the obverse die shows sharp doubling, creating the "Quad Stripes" variety on the obverse shield, and notice too the degree of doubling on Liberty's skirt lines and the shield points. The obverse is light silver-gray with a touch of gold while the reverse is similar but has some deeper streaks of russet crossing the center. Scarce and desirable in all grades, especially this well preserved.
