Lot Description

Tied for second HIGHEST graded at PCGS in the RB designation. This is a vibrantly lustrous 90% RED specimen with some delicate "mellowing" in the obverse center and delicate iridescent tone at the rims. Sharply struck and very nicely preserved surfaces, this delightful coin will fit into any RD set. PCGS 2, NGC 0. There are just three finer in the RB designation, all MS66 RB. Certainly redder than the MS66 RB CAC that sold in the March 2023 Baltimore auction or the one that is being offered on Collectors Corner. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $1,450 and we like this coin a lot, bid accordingly. Cert. Number 40127966 PCGS # 2158
