Lot Description
FROM THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART III A totally FABULOUS GEM! Tied for FINEST in the CAMEO designation at PCGS, this is a beautiful looking highly reflective and contrasted Proof Seated half. Beaming, watery mirrors are icy smooth, and sleek with a flawless cleanliness and bold clarity. The sharply struck up devices have thick mint frost that stands out boldly in stark contrast to the depth of the surrounding mirrors. A blush of tangerine-gold frames both sides of this nearly SUPERB GEM. Only 950 Proofs were struck. PCGS 4, NGC 3. The most recent example graded by PCGS was CAC-approved and sold for $11,850 in November 2020. You have to go back over five years to find a non-CAC example. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $13,000. As one of the FINEST at PCGS, this GEM belongs in a very high end set! Cert. Number 82133230 PCGS # 86430
